Infotel Lanka 2008 is the 9th in the series of bi-annual exhibitions organized by Infotel Lanka Society. The event continues to present a hot-spot for the Information Technology and Communications (ICT) sector and provides a perfect platform on which to tap into this boom market and get a realistic picture of the available business opportunities

This year, the exhibition consists of five display categories:
  • Software
  • Hardware
  • Careers
  • Communications
  • e-Sri Lanka initiatives
This will provide a greater visibility to both visitors and exhibitors. Each area housed in pavilion style, will showcase new technologies in products and services , applications in ICT which have impacted on the lifestyles of the Community at large and also create awareness on training and career opportunities in the ICT sector.

  • To provide careers seekers, students and visitors with information on how to match career/job opportunities in ICT with the required academic/professional qualifications and skills required by the industry.
  • To show case the strengths in the market in terms of academic and professional courses available.
  • To create awareness and /or provide guidance to match available skills with the requirements of the industry/ market.
pen e-Sri Lanka initiatives section

This section will show case applications which remove the technological boundaries between average citizens and state institutions . It enables the visitors to share and be informed of e-services and solutions offered by public sector agencies to improve their lifestyles using digital technologies.

The Infotel Exhibition is held in tandem with IITC Conference 2008 which will provide the participants an opportunity to acquaint themselves with the current global technological developments through the presentations made by eminent specialists in the field.
